Bill O'Reilly Has Come A Long Way, Right?
Recently, Bill O'Reilly is reported to have said "I don't want to go on a lynching party against Michelle Obama." Some may question the motivation or apparent need to point this out, or wonder why he would do something as stupid as appear to be denying an interest in engaging in a hate crime against one of the very highest profile people in the nation right now, but I say - nicely done, Billy.
This comment, taken with his wonderment last year when he discovered that he could eat in a restaurant with people who aren't as white as him and THEY ACT A LOT LIKE HIM! shows that he is growing as a human being, by leaps and bounds.
I can't help but wonder if, in years past, he might not have uttered exactly the opposite sort of comment from this recent line about a possible future First Lady of the Nation.
To put it more simply; Poor Bill, he tries so hard. Why can't we just ignore him? I promise you, enough people stop watching his entertainment show and he will just go away.
Do it. I know he can be funny, but I have resisted the urge for years. You can, too. Just Do It.
