Surprise! Not really...

Another Obama appointee is having tax related issues. Do we need more evidence, than the list of cabinet appointees torpedoed by tax issues, that the tax code needs to be both easier to understand and easier to enforce?

Maybe this is something to write on the calendar to work towards for next year at this time. Believe me, if it were put to a vote I could take part in about now (ie, two weeks leading up to the 15th of April tax deadline) I would vote for almost anything that simplified taxes and didn't completely screw up the tax code.

Please Note: Massive tax cuts passed under Bush would count, in my estimation, as screwing up the tax code.
